A binomial coefficient is written in the form $\binom{n}{k}$ and calculated as $$\frac{n^{\underline{k}}}{k!}$$. The $\underline{k}$ here is a falling factorial, which is calculated with

$$ n^{\underline{k}} = n \times (n-1) \times (n-2)…\times (n-k) $$
