Sequences are basically lists real numbers. In a sequence, there is a real number for each postive integer. So, sequences can also be defined as functions such that $f(n): \mathbb{Z}^+\implies\mathbb{Q}$. They can also ne written down as:

$$ a_1, a_2, a_3, a_4 … a_n $$
